I made most of these a year-and-a-half ago when I was still using him as a PB, so I apologize for the quality of some of them. Gérard is oddly red and it made him hard to icon. If anyone has tips for dealing with that sort of thing, I'd love to hear them.

I made these about a year ago (So pardon the suckage. The photos were bad on top of it, too.) and even uploaded them to Photobucket, but they didn't have the right names and they weren't in the right folder so I never posted them. PS - I'm crazy, in case that wasn't clear. This is Prevail and he's in a... group? of rappers called Swollen Members, but they're still pretty safe to Google. He makes a lot of pouty rapper-ish faces but I think he makes a great Lee Jordan anyway. alexcicio @ GJ has a bunch more here.

Don't try to tell me I'm the only one who randomly Googles their own name just to see what pops us. I think JoAnna James is the cutest thing ever (and not just because she randomly capitalizes the same way I do) and I hate that I can only find a handful of pictures. I listened to some of her music on MySpace and it's actually pretty good. Hopefully she'll take off and we'll get more pictures, because I think she'd make an adorable Hestia Jones.

Siouxsie Sioux could kill you with her bare hands and not lose a single night's sleep over it. Naturally, she's my Bellatrix Lestrange. I finished this before my blood and death post, but I don't always remember things.
(If anyone else is as easily amused as I am, Debbie Harry could make a passable Narcissa. It's worth thinking about. It would be hard to find decent pictures of her at the right age, though, so I'm not going to attempt it.)

I just picked up Bellatrix Lestrange and I needed some icons to represent her favorite hobby. They're arranged from least to most disturbing, and a couple of the pictures toward the end are kind of bad. Don't click if you're sensitive.

I took far too long, but I've never been one to use my time wisely. I didn't even remember that there was a description of Rookwood in the books, but I think Chris really fits nicely. I was hoping that the other man he's with near the end would look more like Travers once the pictures were smaller, but he just looks like a smaller version of some guy who's clearly not Travers. Oh well. We can pretend.

I think this is every single picture of her on the internet, but she'd be such a cute Lily Potter that I could deal with only having a few icons. Actually, I don't think I'll ever use her but I couldn't resist the urge to procrastinate. The YouTube caps at the end are particularly awful but, you know, adorable.

Yes, Tonks - not Natalia Tena, one particular actress/model/singer/whatever with pink hair, or fanart. I like to take advantage of Tonks' metamorphmagus abilities to use an unknown (Laura Rees, personally) and then fill in the blanks with stock models. For myself, I feel like it's cheating to just use any old icons and say "No, that's her!" so these icons all have the same theme: the color pink is in every icon. Most of the models have a Tonks-ish quality, as well. If you're just going for a few, I'd suggest the first 26 and the last 4 (my numbers got screwed up somehow and I just noticed). They have different women in the same locations using the same props. There are also several icons where the face can't be seen, if that's how you prefer to do it.

Some people are absolutely adamant that a model should never be used for Hermione Granger. Yes, it can be done terribly, but if you pick the right photos and a model who's a model because she has famous parents, then it can work. My first attempt to photoshop eyes met with mixed success, and I forgot to do it half of the time anyway. I also tried to tone down the blue raccoon eyes in some of the pictures near the bottom, which met with almost no success at all.

It's just as impossible to find Arthur Weasley icons as it is to find someone who will play him - which I suspect goes hand-in-hand. And so both fall to me. I don't know why, but these icons turned out pretty terrible. Meh. What else do you expect from crappy, low-budget indie flicks like Harry Potter? I'm posting them, though, because I couldn't find any others. Which seems kind of amazing to me, actually, but I'll shut up now.

This is just a handful of icons I made tonight, because I've finally gotten excited about Fleur's pregnancy. I tried to pick babies that could all pass as the same person at different ages, but I wasn't too successful.

I really needed more curly-haired pictures of Idina for Penelope Clearwater, so I finally caved in and capped Rent (which I didn't want to do because I've been worried about her looking too "Maureen") and joined a new gallery. The gallery had a lot of cute pictures that weren't suitable for Penny but are perfect for Bellatrix. The Kevin Hill caps were of varying degrees of blurry grainy awfulness, but she's adorably bitchy in it so I went ahead anyway.
